Light Show At Bel Air Home Spans Front And Back Yards

This holiday display and light show at a residence in Bel Air is made by a couple who started working on it over the summer.

BEL AIR, MD — Since the summer, Vernon Thompson has been working on the installation that spans his front and back yards in Bel Air. He and his wife create all the elements of the display themselves.

In all, Thompson said the show includes a 15 to 20-minute light show set to music.

This is their second year putting it together.

Why do they do it?

"We just want people to enjoy the lights and music," said Thompson, who is an automotive instructor at Harford Technical High School, "and spread the holiday cheer."
