Lightning Strikes, John Carroll Football Game Postponed
The Patriots and Boys' Latin Lakers had to stop in the middle of Friday's matchup.

Ravens cheerleaders were among those on the sidelines at Boys’ Latin on Friday afternoon as the Lakers took on the John Carroll Patriots.
The teams had won the “High School Football Showdown,” an online poll sponsored by The Baltimore Sun and Baltimore Ravens that determines which football game the cheerleaders visit and the newspaper spotlights.
John Carroll was up 27-20 in the third quarter when the game had to be postponed.

According to WJZ, lightning strikes in the area drove the call.
The game will resume at 4 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 12.
