Living Nativity to Tell Christmas Story Near Bel Air

Fourth year for Living Nativity at CrossRoads Community Church features staggered entry to control wait times.

BEL AIR, MD — The shepherds and merchants are readying for their appearance in the Living Nativity at CrossRoads Community Church this season.

At the free display off MD 136, visitors drive through a Bethlehem marketplace, shepherd-filled fields and stable, as costumed characters narrate the story of Christmas.

The display is now heading into its fourth year. Since its humble beginnings in 2013 as a small loop in the church parking lot, the drive-through display has grown to attract hundreds each season, with timed ticketing so that people do not have to endure long waits.
