Loaded Gun Found In Student's Locker At Edgewood High School: Police
A loaded gun was found in a student's locker at Edgewood High School during a search by school staff who were looking for marijuana.
EDGEWOOD, MD — A loaded gun was found in a student's locker at Edgewood High School Friday. The firearm was found during an administrative search conducted by school staff in response to a suspicion of marijuana in the locker.
During the search, Edgewood High School staff discovered a loaded Walther PK380 handgun. The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating how the student obtained the firearm.
The sheriff's office stated that the suspect will be waived to adult status.
