Local Restaurant Owner Gives Away Car for Christmas!
Ballpark Restaurant blesses single mom with a car and trunk full of gifts on Christmas Eve.
This past Christmas Eve, a quiet exchange took place in a quiet suburb of Harford County. A struggling single mom recieved the gift of a lifetime when Joe Weiman, owner of Ballpark Restaurant in Street, MD, tossed her the keys to a brand new (to her) 2004 Ford Escape XLT!
Not only did she receive this amazing new ride, but Joe's family wanted to chip in and blessed her with a trunk full of gifts for her and her son including hundreds of dollars in gift cards for gas and necessities.
This picture represents so much more than just another moment in time. It is a memorial that captures the moment in which this family's life was changed. It represents opportunity, resiliency, and most of all, the true meaning of Christmas.

Joe was once the little boy of a single mom doing her best to make ends meet. Today, Joe got to look into the eyes of Kayla's little boy (who was so excited he cried "happy tears"), and know just how significant of a difference he's made.
Thank you Joe! The world needs more people like you!
