Macphail Road Technical Rescue: 1 Hospitalized, Officials Say

BEL AIR, MD — One person was hospitalized from a crash in Bel Air Monday afternoon that required a technical rescue, officials said.

The collision occurred around 4 p.m. in the 600 block of West Macphail Road, according to the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, which was assisted by the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company in the response.

After stabilizing the vehicle, crews used a stokes basket and ropes to free the victim, who was taken to a regional hospital, according to the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.
