Lewis was taken to the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, where Lewis was pronounced dead, according to a police report.

Investigators said Lewis and 47-year-old Brian Michael Delen of the 500 block of Park Manor Circle in Bel Air argued in the building's parking lot. Delen was delivering food in the neighborhood. During the dispute, a handgun was fired and a round hit Lewis in the upper torso.
