Man Rescued From Whiteford Quarry: Harford Fire And EMS
Technical rescuers helped free a man trapped in a quarry Friday night, Harford County emergency authorities said.

WHITEFORD, MD — When a man fell into a quarry in Whiteford Friday evening, officials said that Harford County technical rescue personnel responded.
Before 5:30 p.m., the man had been rescued from the quarry, located near MD 136 at Quarry Road, said Jenn Chenworth, spokeswoman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
The victim was injured when he fell, Chenworth said, and he was put in the care of medics.

Among those responding to the incident were the Whiteford Volunteer Fire Company as well as the Harford County technical rescue team.
