Man Shot, Injured In Harford County: Sheriff

Deputies responding to a report of shots fired said they found a man with gunshot wounds Friday night near Edgewood.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A man was taken to shock trauma Friday night after being shot in the Edgewood area, according to authorities. He is expected to survive, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported.

Officers said they found a man in the 500 block of Arum Court who had been shot in the upper body.

Deputies located him while responding to a report of shots fired at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10, in the 400 block of Silverside Road, which is about 0.1 mile away.

The man was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment of injuries that were believed to be life-threatening, according to the sheriff's office.
