March For Babies May Cause Road Closures In Bel Air

There may be road closures in downtown Bel Air until noon due to a special event.

BEL AIR, MD— The March of Dimes is holding its annual "March for Babies" in Bel Air on Sunday, April 28. The walk was expected to run from 9 to 11 a.m.

Because of the march, police advised drivers that road closures may be in effect until noon. These roads may be impacted: Main Street, Broadway, Hickory Avenue, North Shamrock, Lee Way, Pennsylvania Avenue and connecting roads.

  • Main Street at parking lot near Black Eyed Suzie's
  • East on Broadway
  • Ardmore Way
  • Lee Way
  • Pennsylvania Avenue
  • Back to finish line

Funds from the walk benefit the March of Dimes, which works to prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. So far, the March of Dimes in Harford County has raised more than $55,000 for this year's event.
