Marcia Amoroz-Cors, 54, of Forest Hill; Salon Owner, Cosmetologist

On Aug. 17, 2015, Marcia Amoroz-Cors, 54, of Forest Hill, beloved wife of Jose I. Cors; loving mother of Cecilia Cors-Amoroz and Nicole Cors; cherished daughter of Maria and the late Javier Amoroz; dear sister of Flor Amoroz, Juan, Willy, Manuel, Mario, Rafael, Luis and Hugo Amoroz, grandmother of Mason Gayo.

Marcia was born on March 3, 1961, in Cajamarca, Peru. She moved to America when she was only 17 years old where her hard work and passion flourished into success. She met Jose Cors, the love of her life, in Washington, D.C., where they wed a few years later. They brought two beautiful daughters into the world, Cecilia and Nicole. Marcia enjoyed providing for her family by doing what she loved, cosmetology. She eventually opened up her own hair salon, Macceni Hair Studio. Her dedication to her family, friends, and career were inspirational. She lived a fulfilling life and she will be forever missed by many.

Family and friends will honor Marcia’s life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services – Bel Air, 3 Newport Drive (Routes 23 and 24), Forest Hill on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Margaret Catholic Church-Hickory on Saturday, Aug. 22, at 10 a.m. Interment private.
