Mark Allen Scheeler, 54, of Abingdon

Mark Allen Scheeler, 54, of Abingdon, passed away on Sept. 9, 2015, at home.

Born in Baltimore, he was the son of Edward Allen Scheeler and Katherine Jane (Henry) Scheeler of Edgewood. Attended Edgewood High School and was a 1979 graduate of Harford Vo Tech. Worked at Alban Tractor for 31 years as a heavy equipment mechanic. Loved by coworkers, who thought he had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also was very artistic, enjoyed drawing and writing.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three children: Scott Scheeler of Conowingo, Taylor Scheeler of Conowingo and Courtney Scheeler of Joppa; brother, David Scott Scheeler Sr. and wife Terry Scheeler; two grandchildren Ashton and Shayla; niece, Kaleigh Scheeler; and nephew, David Scheeler Jr.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at McComas Funeral Home, 1317 Cokesbury Road, in Abingdon.
