Masked Man Tried to Hold Up Abingdon 7-Eleven: Sheriff

Harford County Sheriff's Office announces reward for information.


ABINGDON, MD - There’s a reward for information about the suspect in a recent attempted armed robbery in Abingdon.

A few days before Christmas, a man walked into the 7-Eleven in the 3900 block of Pulaski Highway, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money, according to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to the convenience store at 2:33 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22, the sheriff’s office reported.

Nothing was taken from the store, the report said.

The suspect was described as a masked man who was approximately 6’ tall, thin and wearing a dark sweatshirt and blue jeans.

There’s a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information. To be eligible for the reward, tipsters must text the tip to Metro Crime Stoppers at 274637 with ā€œMCSā€ plus the message; call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587 (or 1-866-7LOCKUP); or submit a tip online.
