Medevac Called After Woman Falls in Abingdon: Officials

The helicopter was slated to land at William S. James Elementary, Harford County fire and EMS officials said.

Abingdon, MD — A woman was airlifted Saturday morning after a long fall in Abingdon, officials said.

A Maryland State Police medevac was on the way to William S. James Elementary School to pick up the victim shortly after 11 a.m., according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

Gardiner said that the middle-aged woman fell on Pouska Road.
