Medevac Called to Crash on Conowingo Dam: Officials

A medevac has been called to transport someone injured in a crash on the Conowingo Dam, according to the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company.

After 2 p.m. on Friday, the fire company reported its crew was at the crash scene on US 1/the Conowingo Dam.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., the medevac was en route, according to the report, which said the extent of the injuries were unknown.

According to state transportation officials, the Conowingo Dam/US 1 was open for travel.
