Medevac Called For Man Who Fell In Abingdon: Officials

A helicopter was picking up a seriously injured individual, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A man was seriously injured in a fall in Abingdon Monday afternoon, according to officials. Authorities said the 77-year-old man was going to be flown for treatment.

After 3:30 p.m., the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported its ambulance was called to the 4000 block of East Baker Avenue to respond to the fall victim.

A Maryland State Police medevac planned to land at the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company helipad, officials said. The helipad is located off MD 152 near Interstate 95.
