The public is invited to special grand opening event on Saturday, April 2, off MD 924.

BEL AIR, MD – MedStar Health is holding a grand opening event where the public is welcome to preview its newest facility, an outpatient center off MD 924.
The event is slated for Saturday, April 2, before the medical campus opens to the public on Tuesday, April 12.
Described as a "hospital without walls," the MedStar Health Bel Air Medical Campus will offer an urgent care center; primary care physicians; imaging services; outpatient services; a cancer center; and specialists in areas like cardiology, rehabilitation and women's health.

"...the ability to see a physician and have an MRI during the same visit will reduce the number of trips for care and time away from work," Bob Gilbert, president of MedStar Ambulatory Services, said. "This translates to a high-quality experience for our patients, while also being an efficient and cost-effective way to receive care. Our medical providers will benefit from having colleagues easily accessible for consults regarding treatment options."
According to MedStar, approximately 20 percent of the company's patients are Harford County residents, so it made sense to put a facility there and consolidate its services in one place.
