Mom-Daughter Duo Own Harford's 'Best Coffee Shop' In Bel Air

Voted the best coffee shop in Harford County, Coffee Coffee happens to be owned by a mother-daughter duo.

Customers can dine in or order take out, plus there's online ordering available, too. There's also a selection of retail coffee, teas and foodie-type gift items. The coffee shop offers indoor seating plus spots on the outdoor patio.

BEL AIR, MD — For a quick pick-me-up in the morning or to refuel at lunchtime, pop by Coffee Coffee at 5 Bel Air South Parkway #117 in Bel Air.

Owned by mother-daughter duo Betsy Depman and Hillary Tayson, Coffee Coffee is open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and voted Harford's favorite coffee shop.

"We are proud to have employed hundreds of young folks from our community over the years. We have an amazing network with other local businesses and farms. So many of our customers are like family- we have known them for over 15 years," Depman said.

They offer locally roasted coffee and teas, bakery items, breakfast and lunch with a focus on seasonal menus and local ingredient sourcing. Teas include hot tea, matcha latte, chai tea latte, golden milk latte and hot chocolate. There are espressos, specialty espressos, cold drinks, frozen drinks and a daily brewed coffee, cafe au lait, pour over and French press.

"Our frittata breakfast sandwiches, scones and avocado toasts are our best sellers," Tayson told Patch.

Customers can dine in or order take out, plus there's online ordering available, too. There's also a selection of retail coffee, teas and foodie-type gift items. The coffee shop offers indoor seating plus spots on the outdoor patio. Catering also is available.

"We also are also a vendor at the Bel Air farmers market on Saturdays from April through December. We also are very involved in our community and support many local area schools and organizations - we sponsor the HCPLibrary Gala each year and Hillary is a bird member for Harford Land Trust," Depman said.
