Before Moving, Harford Shelter Waives Adoption Fees

The Humane Society of Harford County is relocating to new facility, needs help adopting out animals.

FALLSTON, MD – In the days leading up to a relocation from an old farmhouse to a brand-new facility, the Humane Society of Harford County is clearing out its shelter.

To encourage people to adopt its current residents, the organization is waiving adoption fees for all animals 7 months and older at the shelter from Monday, March 21, to Friday, March 25.

The waived adoption fees also apply to pets at the Humane Society of Harford County's satellite adoption centers:

The Humane Society of Harford County will be open from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. this week at 2208 Connolly Road, Fallston. The shelter will be closed as it moves on Saturday, March 26, and Sunday, March 27. The new facility will open on Monday, March 28.
