Multiple Crashes in Harford County Reported Wednesday

Several state roads are the scenes of collisions during the Wednesday morning commute.

First responders are handling several crashes on Wednesday morning in Harford County.

Route 24

There were multiple collisions on MD 24, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

After 6 a.m., the fire company advised slick roads were leading to crashes on Route 24 between Philadelphia Road/MD 7 and MD 755/Edgewood Road.

One lane was closed on Route 24 at the Otter Creek ramp due to a crash, state transportation officials reported at 6:25 a.m.

Route 22 at Route 136

There’s a crash at a major intersection in Churchville Wednesday morning, and officials are asking drivers to avoid the area.

Crews were dispatched to a crash on MD 22 at MD 136 that required rescue, according to Jenn Chenworth, spokeswoman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

After 6 a.m., Chenworth said the incident was “active” and drivers should seek alternate routes.

Route 543

Icy conditions have been reported on Route 543, particularly in the area of Wheel Road, according to WBAL Radio.
