Multiple Vehicles Crash On Route 24 At Singer Road: Officials

ABINGDON MD — Several vehicles crashed on MD 24 near Singer Road Monday night in Abingdon, according to officials. At least one person was trapped, the Abingdon Fire Company reported.

Crews from Abingdon, Bel Air and Joppa-Magnolia responded to the collision, which occurred around 7:15 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, authorities reported.

Drivers were advised to expect major delays in the area of Singer Road at Route 24.

MD 24 was closed southbound near Singer Road after the collision, and Maryland State Police told Fox 45 that the road was expected to reopen soon after 7:45 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3.
