Murder Investigation Underway in Abingdon: Sheriff
A dead body was found near the Elks Lodge, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect in the death of a man whose body was found in Abingdon last week, the Harford County Sheriff’s Office reported Monday.
Travis Harrell Best, 34, of the 100 block of Fuller Place in Baltimore, was found next to the Elks Lodge on Harford Boat Club Road, where deputies responded on Wednesday, Aug. 12, in response to a 911 call reporting a decomposing body, officials said.
Best was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff’s office reported.

The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is leading the murder investigation, with assistance from the Baltimore Police Department and the Baltimore County Police Department, according to the report.
