Main Street Dinner Restaurant Preps for Opening
One Eleven Main will feature American cuisine made with local ingredients.

A new dinner restaurant is in the works for the spot where Little NY Deli used to be on Main Street in Bel Air.
One Eleven Main will serve dinner only, cooking up traditional and contemporary American cuisine in a 64-seat establishment described as “intimate,” according to its website.
The name, of course, is tied to the address; the business is at 111 South Main Street in Bel Air.

Manager David Anderson, 25, said he hopes to “steer away from ... the norm on Main Street,” according to The Aegis, which reported that Anderson—who grew up in Forest Hill—craved an option that was neither a chain nor an Italian restaurant, and he hopes to provide a setting centered around food as opposed to a bar.

Though he now lives in Baltimore, David Anderson has local roots, as a 2007 graduate from C. Milton Wright and the son of Richard Anderson, who owns Richard’s Fish and Crabs on Route 22 and who will be the primary owner of One Eleven Main, The Aegis reported.
Local ingredients will be the norm in the dishes at One Eleven Main, and Rousedale Farm of Fallston already reports it will be providing produce for the restaurant, which it says will open in June.
In the meantime, expect some changes in the appearance of the former deli on Main Street.
“It looks like we will be able to start renovations on the building very soon,” One Eleven Main reported on its Facebook page on Feb. 8. “We cannot wait to get work started so we can begin to serve the community.”
