Food Science and Culinary Arts Classes to be Offered at Harford Community College

Classes can be taken individually or as part of a certificate program. Area businesses helped shape the new course offerings.

With the construction of a multi-purpose food science lab in HCC’s newly renovated Edgewood Hall, a variety of new classes will be offered with opportunities for certificates in Research & Development, Processing, Restaurant/Hospitality, and others. A Food Science Advisory Board, with partners from companies such as Thymly Products, Inc., Gordon Food Service, Herr Foods, Citrus & Allied, Inc. and Klein’s Shoprite, has been instrumental in the development of the program.

Classes can be taken individually or as part of a certificate program.
