New Murals On Main Street Underway At The Tower
Two murals are being painted at the Main Street Tower this week in Bel Air.
BEL AIR, MD — An artist is at work on Main Street in Bel Air this week. He is painting murals at the Main Street Tower in a project funded by the Bel Air Cultural Arts Commission.
The project consists of two trompe l’oeil murals. That means they are designed to look real, using artistic techniques that create an optical illusion.
Jack Pabis of Frederick is painting the murals, and he also created the "Art Works!" mural on Lee Street.
