New Winter Weather Advisory for Bel Air
The National Weather Service issued weekend advisory.
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for Bel Air and the rest of Harford County, effective from 9 a.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday.
The advisory calls for 1 to 2 inches of snow and possibly a trace of ice.
Snow will begin falling early Saturday afternoon, then mix with sleet as evening sets in, according to the weather service.

By late Saturday night, the sleet will change over to freezing rain, the advisory states.
Temperatures will remain below freezing, in the teens and low 20s, on Saturday, according to the weather service, which reported Sunday’s temps should go up to the 30s.

Traveling may be hazardous during the advisory period, according to weather officials.
Harford, Baltimore, Howard and Montgomery counties are included in the advisory.
