Nominate Business Of The Year In Bel Air

BEL AIR, MD — Is there a standout business in the town of Bel Air that you think hasn't gotten enough recognition? Here is your chance to shine the spotlight on a local business.

The Bel Air Economic & Community Development Commission is seeking nominations from the community for its annual "Business of the Year Award."

The commission will look to find the nominee that has made the most significant contribution in the past year to the town of Bel Air, as far as town projects, events or activities or the overall economy, according to a statement from the Bel Air Department of Economic Development.

To nominate a business, download a nomination form and submit it to the Town of Bel Air's Department of Economic Development, 37 North Main Street, Bel Air, MD 21014. Businesses are welcome to nominate themselves.

Nominations must be received by Sept. 1.

The winner will be announced Oct. 18 at a reception at the Liriodendron Mansion.

The 2017 Bel Air Business of the Year was Independent Brewing Company.
