Oak Crest Names Wendy Kelly as Director of General Services

Parkville, Maryland--Oak Crest, the Erickson Living retirement community, named Wendy Kelly as its Director of General Services.

Since 2008, Mrs. Kelly has served as the Director of Human Resources of Oak Crest. Previously, she worked at Mercy Medical Center for twenty-seven years, including as Director of Employment and Employee Relations.

In her leadership position, Mrs. Kelly will oversee the daily operations of the General Services Department consisting of 250 employees responsible for the physical plant and infrastructure of the 87-acre campus. She will also coordinate master planning projects associated with the three-phase, long-range plan of Oak Crest that will include expansion of the fitness & aquatics center, creation of new dining venues and development of outdoor landscaping and additional recreational areas.

“During the last eight years, Wendy has done an outstanding job with training, advancement and benefits management programming for our award-winning, diverse workforce,” stated Mark Roussey, Executive Director of Oak Crest. “We are excited that she is bringing her considerable experience to lead another department essential to the overall success of our community. I know that Wendy is looking forward to working even closer with our residents to deliver services and amenities that meet their needs.”

Mrs. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from the College of Notre Dame and a Master’s Degree in the Management of Aging Services from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She is a recent graduate of Leadership Baltimore County and a member of the Society of Human Resources Managers (SHRM).

She resides in Bel Air with her husband, Tom. The couple has a daughter, son and new daughter-in-law.
