SHA Dump Truck Involved In Crash On Route 136
BREAKING: Route 136 was temporarily closed due to the crash Friday morning, officials say.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A State Highway Administration vehicle reportedly crashed on Route 136 Friday morning and caused a closure near Trappe Road. The collision reportedly involved a deer.
A State Highway dump truck hit a deer on Route 136/Priestford Road at Trappe Road around 5:30 a.m., according to ABC 2 News, which reported that as of 6:30 a.m., the crash had cleared.
The worker who had been in the truck was taken to the hospital and is OK, according to WBAL.

The Maryland Transportation Authority advised drivers heading out Friday morning that parts of the road that look like they are wet may actually be covered in ice, after Thursday's snow coupled with below-freezing temperatures. The high in Bel Air on Friday is 16 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
A wind chill advisory has been issued for the region, including Harford County, stating that temperatures will feel like 5 degrees below zero to 15 below zero.

During the advisory period, people should be sure to wear a hat and gloves, since frostbite can occur within 30 minutes if skin is exposed. The wind chill advisory is in effect from 10 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 4, to noon on Friday, Jan. 5.
