One Airlifted from Crash Near Jarrettsville

Members of the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company reportedly rescued someone trapped in a vehicle Tuesday night.

One person was flown for medical treatment after a crash near Jarrettsville Tuesday night, officials said.

The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company rescued someone from a vehicle in the area of Fallston Road at Jarrettsville Pike, according to Jenn Chenworth, spokeswoman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

The victim was airlifted by Maryland State Police helicopter and was on the way to a regional trauma center at approximately 9:30 p.m., Chenworth reported.

Chenworth said that the single-vehicle collision occurred at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, and wires were down in the area as a result.
