One Dead After Crash Near Old Mountain Road: Officials
Multiple vehicles were involved in the collision, Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported.

One person died and several others were injured in a crash Friday evening on Mountain Road/MD Route 152, officials said.
At approximately 6:36 p.m., the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a collision on Route 152 at Old Mountain Road, where one person was dead at the scene; one person required rescue; another was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview in serious condition; and a fourth person refused medical attention, according to the report from the fire company.
The deceased was identified as 41-year-old Edward Schlossenberg, of the 1400 block of Primrose Place in Belcamp, according to The Aegis.

The collision involved three vehicles, according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team. Upon arriving, Joppa-Magnolia called for two additional paramedic units and the rescue truck from Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company, according to the fire company’s report.
Two people were trapped inside one of the vehicles, and Joppa-Magnolia reported that crews had to use the jaws of life to get to them; one man was declared deceased, and the other was rescued and taken to the R Adams Cowley University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, according to the report.

Joppa-Magnolia paramedics also took the man driving the second vehicle to the Johns Hopkins Bayview Trauma Center, where he was listed in serious condition, the report said.
The driver from the third vehicle refused treatment and transport.
The Harford County Office of Emergency Management advised drivers to avoid the area in a report at 7:15 p.m.
All lanes of Route 152 were closed at Old Mountain Road before 7 p.m.; after 11 p.m., the road remained closed, according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team.
A second collision occurred at 7:53 p.m. nearby, which authorities were also investigating.
