Fatal Crash in Street May Have Involved Alcohol, Speed: Harford Sheriff
A woman died after her vehicle went off-road and into trees Monday morning, Harford County emergency personnel reported.

Harford County, MD — A woman died in a crash near MD 543 Monday morning, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office. Authorities are asking for information from anyone who may have seen the collision.
Amy Sue Kahl, 41, of Mine Branch Road, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash, on Mine Branch Road near Ady Road/MD 543, officials said.
Kahl's 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe left the road and hit a tree at approximately 4 a.m., according to authorities.

A resident who lived in the area reported the crash at 6:38 a.m.
Alcohol and speed may have been factors in the collision, according to the sheriff's office, which reported Kahl was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Authorities are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact the traffic unit of the Harford County Sheriff's Office at 443-409-3324.

Harford County, MD — One person is in grave condition after a crash on MD 543 Monday morning, according to officials.
At 6:45 a.m., the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company responded to a call for a crash in the area of MD 543 at Mine Branch Road and found a vehicle had gone off the road and into trees, said Mike Laslo, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
One person suffered grave injuries in the collision, Laslo said.
As of 9:30 a.m., crews were still at the scene, and Maryland State Police officials were investigating.
