Forest Hill Woman Dies In Fallston Crash: Harford Sheriff
Two vehicles were involved in a fatal crash Wednesday in Harford County, according to authorities.
FALLSTON, MD — A Forest Hill woman died in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday in Fallston, according to authorities. Officials said the other driver was evaluated at the scene, and the cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
Deputies were called at 5 p.m. to the 2400 block of Pleasantville Road, where two vehicles crashed.
Rosemary Smart, 79, of the 1900 block of Pleasantville Road in Forest Hill, was pronounced deceased at the scene near Buell Road, officials said.

Investigators determined her Subaru crossed over the center line for undetermined reasons and was hit on the front passenger side by a Dodge Ram.
Officials said the truck was driven by Martin Strunkstein Jr., 42, of the 2200 block of Pleasantville Road in Fallston. Medics evaluated Strunkstein, who was released, according to authorities.

No evidence of drugs or alcohol was found, officials reported, noting it was early in the investigation.
Following the crash, Pleasantville Road was closed between MD 152 and Buell Drive for at least three hours.

Deputies were called at 5 p.m. to Pleasantville Road, where a woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision, according to Cristie Hopkins, spokesperson for the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
The wreck was reported in the 2400 block of Pleasantville Road.
Following the crash, Pleasantville Road was closed between MD 152 and Buell Drive.
By about 8:20 p.m., Hopkins said the road had reopened.
