One School Closed In Baltimore City On Monday: Officials

A problem with utilities around Frederick Avenue led to the closure, according to Baltimore City Public Schools.

BALTIMORE, MD — One elementary school will be closed in Baltimore City on Monday, Oct. 15. Officials from Baltimore City Public Schools made the announcement Sunday night about the closure.

Beechfield Elementary/Middle School in the 300 block of South Beechfield Avenue will be closed on Monday, Oct. 15, officials reported.

A water shut-down on Frederick Avenue was cited as the reason for the closure.

While Monday is a day off for students, staff should report to the Professional Development Center at 2500 East Northern Parkway, school officials advised.
