Person Dies at Rocks State Park: Officials

The victim had to be extracted from King and Queen Seat, according to report.

One person committed suicide at King and Queen Seat in Rocks State Park Wednesday evening, according to Candy Thomson, spokeswoman for the Maryland Natural Resources Police.

The Harford County Technical Rescue Team worked with the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company to get to and extract the victim, said Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association spokesman Rich Gardiner.

The victim suffered traumatic injuries, Gardiner reported at 7:40 p.m.
