Playground Closing Wednesday At Shamrock Park In Bel Air For New Equipment Installation

Shamrock Park's playground will close Wednesday for the installation of new equipment, a new surface and a handicap-accessible pathway.

BEL AIR, MD — Shamrock Park's playground will shut down for more than a month starting Wednesday.

Several pieces of equipment will be installed that are designed for use by children with disabilities, including an expression swing that can be used by both an adult and child at the same time, as well as a spinning seat and a merry-go-all.

A new rubberized playing surface will be installed, as well as a handicap-accessible pathway running along the sidewalks on Lee Way and Pennsylvania Avenue.
