Edgewood Homicide: Detectives Ask Neighbors For Security Videos

After a man was killed in Harford County, investigators are seeking tips to piece together what happened. There may be a reward for info.

EDGEWOOD, MD — A Baltimore County man was killed in Edgewood, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported Tuesday morning. He was fatally shot, officials said.

Denzel Shabazz Jones, 22, of Middle River, was pronounced deceased in the 1400 block of Hanson Road, where deputies were called at 6:07 a.m. Tuesday, according to authorities.

During the initial police investigation, Hanson Road was closed between Court Square Drive and Woodbridge Center Way, the sheriff's office reported. It reopened by 11:30 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing, and detectives ask anyone with security or doorbell cameras to look at their footage for any video that may be related to the case.
