The Brothers Four Quartet will be playing at The John Carroll School on Nov. 12, and the school's musical groups will also be featured.

(John Carroll School)

John Carroll School:The internationally known and loved folk revival band, The Brothers Four, will perform one night only at The John Carroll School in Bel Air. Pioneers in the 1960s folk revival, the band is best known for popular hits including "Greenfields," "Yellow Bird," "Try to Remember" and "Across the Wide Missouri," as well as for the Academy-award nominated single “The Green Leaves of Summer” featured in the John Wayne movie “The Alamo.”

One of the only groups of the era still performing, audiences across the globe continue to flock to see the quartet’s all-acoustic performances of guitars, banjos, mandolins, upright bass and, of course, the trademark rich blend of their four voices. The opportunity to see them perform in Bel Air is sure to be an unforgettable evening of pure, acoustic music and entertainment.

In addition to The Brother Four, the evening’s program will also feature performances by John Carroll musical ensembles including the JC Chorus, Bella Voce, coed a capella group and the Patriettes female a capella group, and a chorus comprised of local elementary school students.
