Psychedelic Mushrooms Seized In Bel Air Traffic Stop: Police
Police said that a Forest Hill man was driving around with more than 110 grams of drugs in his car when he was stopped in Bel Air.

BEL AIR, MD - A Forest Hill man is facing drug charges after a recent traffic stop, according to the Bel Air Police Department. The man stopped for speeding was allegedly found with more than 110 grams of drugs.
Benjamin Vencill, 20, of the 200 block of Kimary Court, was driving south on Bond Street in the area of Gordon Street when a Bel Air officer stopped him, according to police.
Vencill was going 40 mph in a 25 mph zone when he was stopped at 7:03 p.m. on Sunday, court records show.

Authorities said they called a Maryland State Police K-9 to assist with the stop of the Honda.
After the K-9 signaled there were suspected narcotics in the vehicle, officers said they found more than 70 grams of psychedelic/psilocybin mushrooms and more than 40 grams of marijuana.

Vencill was charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute narcotics, possession of more than 10 grams of marijuana and possession of drugs other than marijuana. He was also charged with speeding and failing to curb his vehicle when signaled by police.
He is scheduled to appear in Harford County District Court on Sept. 27.
