Rainbow International of Northeastern Maryland Unveils State-of-the-Art Facility in Hickory

After years of ideation, strategic planning and development, Rainbow International of Northeastern Maryland unveiled a new state-of-the-art restoration storage facility on Tuesday. More than 100 people attended the open house of Rainbow International’s 15,000-square-foot temperature and climate-controlled space in Hickory. The facility is the only of its kind in the state of Maryland and allows for museum-quality storage of contents damaged by floods, fires and mold. The facility also boasts The Learning Lab—a training and presentation space with full visual capabilities and food service options, available for rent by businesses and the general public.

Attendees were able to tour the spacious facility while mingling with local officials, Rainbow International employees and partners, and community members. Government officials and representatives in attendance presented Rainbow International with official citations. Recognizable attendees included Sen. Wayne Norman, Del. Teresa Reilly, Councilman Patrick Vincenti, Councilman Chad Schrodes, Clerk of the Circuit Court James Reilly, and Mike Mason on behalf of County Executive Barry Glassman.

While regulatory agencies posed additional challenges, the Harford County government helped ensure the project moved forward, allowing us to invest in our own community.”

Two Black Dogs catered the event while music was provided by Electric Molly. Rainbow International specializes in remediation services and works with insurance companies and property owners to restore both commercial and residential properties that have been damaged by floods, fires and mold.
