Rally For The Ravens Planned In Bel Air

The Ravens cheerleaders, Marching Ravens, Poe and former players will converge in Bel Air in a show of support before the playoffs.

BEL AIR, MD — With the Ravens headed to the playoffs as the top seed in the AFC, Harford County will cheer the team on with a pep rally off Main Street in Bel Air. The Rally for the Ravens is slated for Jan. 10.

The Ravens cheerleaders, mascot Poe, the Marching Ravens pep band and some retired Ravens players will be in attendance, according to organizers. While subject to change, former Ravens players Chris McAlister and G Edwin Mulitalo are set to appear. Local high schools will also perform during the rally.

There will be giveaways and prizes for the best-dressed Ravens fan.

The Bel Air High School marching band will march from the high school at 100 Heighe Street to kick off the event. Organizers advise getting downtown by 11:30 a.m. to see the band.

The Rally for the Ravens event will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, at the corner of Main Street and Churchville Road/MD 22, in the Harford County-owned parking lot next to Black Eyed Suzie's.

The Ravens will host the playoffs at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11. Their opponent will be determined during this weekend's playoffs.
