The Regal Summer Movie Express series brings affordable family movies to Abingdon two days a week this summer.

ABINGDON, MD — Summer is here, and moms and dads are looking for ways to fill their kids’ days while school is out. One inexpensive option is a movie at the Regal Bel Air Cinema in Abingdon, where it will only cost a buck to get in.
The theater is offering the deal through its Regal Summer Movie Express series.
Movies in the Regal Summer Movie Express series are flicks the entire family will enjoy, including "Despicable Me," "Secret Life of Pets," "Kung Fu Panda" and others.

The movies are shown on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Both movies play on both days. People must buy the $1 tickets at the box office.
