7 Hospitalized After Crash On Belair Road: Officials
The Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company reported that four vehicles crashed Friday night on Route 1 at Reckord Road.
FALLSTON, MD — Officials said multiple people were hospitalized after a crash Friday night in Fallston. The collision on Belair Road/US 1 at Reckord Road involved four vehicles, according to the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company.
Officials from Fallston said that seven people were taken to area hospitals from the crash.
At approximately 9 p.m., the fire and ambulance company was notified that there had a been a crash with at least one person trapped and a number of people injured. Several callers had reported the crash to the Harford County 911 Center, officials said.

Within three minutes, the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company had an engine and ambulance at the scene; its crews reported they were on Belair Road when the call was dispatched.
One person was trapped and rescued within 10 minutes, Fallston officials reported. Emergency personnel from Kingsville and Joppa-Magnolia also responded to the incident.

Four people were taken to trauma centers, two were taken to a local hospital and one was flown to a regional trauma center by Maryland State Police helicopter, according to the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company.
Authorities from Maryland State Police were investigating the crash.

PREVIOUS REPORT: Multiple people are being rescued at a crash on US 1/Belair Road at Reckord Road Friday night in Fallston, officials say. Three medics were called to the crash, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.
At 9:08 p.m., Joppa-Magnolia reported it was responding to the crash as requested by Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company.
Belair Road and Reckord Road are closed, and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
