Basement Fire Reported in Abingdon Townhouse
Crews from multiple fire companies were at the scene Monday afternoon.
Firefighters battled a residential blaze Monday afternoon in Abingdon, according to a report from the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.
Crews from Joppa-Magnolia and Abingdon Fire Company responded to the fire in the 2200 block of Tidal View Garth, the report said.
The fire was contained to a dryer in the basement of a townhouse, according to the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, which also responded.

There were no injuries as a result of the fire, but the room where the dryer was located did sustain some damage, said Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
After 3 p.m., Joppa-Magnolia reported multiple crews were at the scene.
