Reward Offered For Smoke And Glass Shop Robber On Belair Road

There is a reward of up to $2,000 for information about the robber of a head shop in Harford County.

FALLSTON, MD — Authorities are trying to find a man who said he had a gun, then robbed a smoke shop in Fallston recently. There is a cash reward for information in the case.

The robbery happened at 8:47 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office, which shared a photo of the suspect this week.

After walking into the Smoke and Glass Shop in the 1600 block of Belair Road, authorities said the suspect announced he had a gun, took four bags of Kratom and left.

Kratom is a botanical product that contains opioid compounds, according to the National Institutes of Health.

The Food and Drug Administration has expressed concern about the potential for abuse, addiction and serious health consequences — which include death — from Kratom.

The Smoke and Glass Shop robber who left with Kratom was described as a man 20 to 30 years old who was wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt with jeans and sunglasses.
