Rosemary Ann (nee Lambden) Jackson, age 62, died peacefully at home in Forest Hill on July 16, 2017.
The fifth of six children, she was born in Washington, D.C., on Aug. 6, 1954. She is preceded in death by her parents Albert Leroy "Pete" and Susan Theresa (nee Broderick) Lambden, and her older brother John Guy Lambden.
Rosemary graduated from Southern High School in Hardwood in 1972 and lived in Annapolis and Charlotte, North Carolina, prior to moving to Forest Hill to start a family with her husband in 1978. For 23 years, Rosemary worked as a Design Consultant at Harrison's Paint Center in Bel Air. An avid lover of cooking, babies, family stories, laughter, breezy fall days, bluebirds, the water, cobalt blue glass and the simple things in life, she devoted herself tirelessly to her family. She loved nothing more than taking care of and spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered as the world's best "Mommom."

She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 40 years, Patrick Evan “Pat” Sr.; her daughter, Theresa Katherine Jackson Santo and her husband, Ron; her son, Patrick Evan Jackson Jr. and his wife, Erin Leigh (nee Herbert) Jackson; grandchildren Evan Broderick Jackson, Caroline Grace Jackson, Katherine Genevieve Santo and John Jackson Santo; brothers, Thomas Anthony Lambden, Peter David Lambden and Albert Leroy “Roy” Lambden Jr.; sister Barbara Sue (nee Lambden) Naumann; numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law; dozens of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a community of lifelong friends and neighbors.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, July 21, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m., and will celebrate her life at a public funeral service on Saturday, July 22, at 11 a.m. at McComas Funeral Home, 50 W. Broadway, Bel Air, MD 21014. Interment will be private.
