Authorities said a tree fell on US 1 near Bel Air.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — After a tree fell on US 1, the road was closed for more than an hour Thursday night in Harford County, according to the State Highway Administration.

Authorities said the tree fell on US 1 north past Allibone Road. All lanes were shut down as a result.

The closure took effect before 8 p.m., and all lanes had reopened by 9:20 p.m.

Harford County had been under a flash flood watch until 8 p.m.
