Route 22 Reopens After Wires Fall: Officials
Fallen wires temporarily closed Churchville Road in one direction Sunday morning, according to authorities.
BEL AIR, MD — A section of MD 22/Churchville Road reopened Sunday afternoon following utility issues, according to state highway officials.
Route 22 was closed to westbound traffic between Snake Lane and Campus Hills Drive, the Maryland State Highway Administration reported before 8:30 a.m.
The 3-mile stretch of road was closed due to wires being down, officials said.

Transportation authorities said the closure of Route 22 west would likely last five hours, meaning it is expected to reopen before 1:30 p.m.
It reopened by 12:35 p.m., according to state highway officials.
