10 Days Of Halloween In Havre de Grace

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Office of Tourism has announced that Halloween in Havre de Grace this year has grown beyond the holiday itself. There are more than a week's worth of festivities planned.

The official trick-or-treat hours have been set. Trick-or-treat will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31, in the city of Havre de Grace.

The city is having its annual Halloween costume parade at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, at the corner of Washington Street and Congress Avenue.

Here is the rundown of activities, according to tourism officials:

• Monday, Oct. 23, to Saturday, Oct. 28: Horror film series at the Havre de Grace Opera House
• Oct. 27 and Oct. 28: Havre de Grace Haunts Tours
• 10:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 28: Paint pumpkins at the Havre de Grace Library
• Saturday, Oct. 28: Wind Up Toy (Alice Cooper Tribute Band) at Havre de Grace Opera House
• Saturday, Oct. 28, and Sunday, Oct. 29: Lock House Museum will have treats and surprises for kids
• 8 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, Oct. 28: American Legion Halloween costume party
• 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28: Humans vs. Zombies Nerf War at the Havre de Grace Library
• 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29: Howl-o-ween Tails and Treats for pets and kids at Concord Point Lighthouse
• 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29: "Carve and Candy" at the Decoy Museum; paint a pumpkin, $5 per child
• Sunday, Oct. 29: Trick-or-treat in downtown district, participating businesses will have balloons
• 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30: Halloween Parade at Washington Street and Congress Avenue
• 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31: Trick or treat at Havre de Grace Library
• 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31: Trick or treating in Havre de Grace
