Sandra A. Sexton, 57, of Darlington

Sandra A. Sexton, 57, of Darlington, died suddenly on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016. She was the widow of Bruce T. Sexton Sr., who passed in 2010.

Born April 1, 1958, in Havre de Grace, she was the daughter of Henry D. Sturgill Sr., of Darlington, and the late Mary Jean (Jordan) Sturgill. Sandy was a graduate of North Harford High School, class of 1976. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She was a friend to many and was known to love collecting angels and snowmen.

She is survived by 4 sons:

• Eric Singleton and his wife, Angela of Forest Hill, MD
• Aaron Singleton of Conowingo, MD
• Zachary Singleton of California
• Bruce Sexton of Darlington, MD

3 sisters:

• Pat Sturgill of Abingdon, MD
• Kathy Krout of Abingdon, MD
• Jeanine Worthington of Port Deposit, MD

2 brothers:

• Henry D. Sturgill Jr. of Whiteford, MD
• Timothy Sturgill of Churchville, MD

4 grandchildren:

• Alex Singleton, Tatum Singleton, Jillian Singleton, and Hayden Singleton

And many nieces and nephews.

Her former husband, Daniel L. Singleton of Conowingo, MD.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, at 7 p.m. in Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St. Delta, PA. Visitation will begin prior to the service at 5 p.m. Pastor Chris Karschner of New Hope Baptist Church will officiate.

Inurnment will be private.
